What makes us successful?   The main element to our success is that we are unique. No other shop, as of now, in this area or all of California service cars, sell parts and modifying cars like Corner3 Garage. There are some dealerships that sell and install performance parts but they limit it to parts that are mild and street legal. Most shops that sell and install performance parts know little about diagnosing problems and maintenance; they just specialize in performance parts. Corner3 Garage sell and install aftermarket parts that are street legal and some that are only to be used at a race track. Also, we fabricate parts and modify cars in ways no other shops do in this area. We set no limits in what we do as long as it is in our area of expertise.   Work with only factory parts for service and repair (Nissan, Toyota, and Honda Genuine parts).   Use top of the line equipment, tools, and programs.   We have access to Nissan factory insiders for any technical support.   In house welding and metal working. Who are our target customers?   Our target customers are those who care about their cars. After randomly questioning car owners about auto repair, we found that one of the primary concerns is about getting ‘ripped off’. This concern developed mostly because in this industry, there are a large number of unqualified mechanics. The stereotype of mechanics being dirty crooks did not appear out of nowhere, it started from some truth. Most independent shops do not specialize when it comes to maintenance services. They work on many different types of cars and are not fully skilled at fixing any specific make. The mechanics are not formally trained by the manufacturer for all of the makes of cars they work on and most do not use factory parts. Many people shop for the best price and usually, they get what they pay for. They find less than scrupulous businesses that hire uncertified and poorly qualified mechanics with no supervision to work on their cars. Those people, most likely, will not take their car to us. Our customers are those who find that poor quality due to unqualified mechanics and cheap parts isn’t worth the future aggravation, and realize that quality matters when it comes to the cars they drive, even if it means spending a little more. What separates Corner3 Garage from other independents?   Corner3 Garage does more than just auto repair. Our work is done by a factory trained mechanic. At any Nissan dealership, there may be 1 to 3 Nissan masters on average, out of a total of 10 to 30 mechanics, depending on the size of the shop. There are almost no Nissan masters working at independents. The reason is simple. With the time spent on training, it would be a waste to take a pay cut and loose benefits to work for an independent. Most mechanics that leave the dealerships either start their own shops or work for Nissan corporate and this applies to all other makes as well. But the fact is most mechanics do not work at a dealership long enough to even meet the time requirement, let alone the schooling to become a Nissan master technician. On top of that, most mechanics are not even ASE masters.
